What You Can Expect
As the Distribution Intern you will support the operations team that provides distribution of chilled water electricity steam and water to The University of Iowa. This group maintains the cabling controls network metering piping pumping substation tunnel and vault systems that comprise the distribution systems. You will also focus on inventory tracking and procurement and management of various assets and processes supporting operations using a variety of computer programs.
- Independently identify maintenance needs in distribution systems and coordinate with the Utilities Distribution Planner to develop Corrective Work Orders
- Develop and maintain performance results and analyses of distribution systems helping to identify document and track maintenance needs while keeping accurate records
- Maintain equipment inventory databases under the guidance of Distribution management and planning staff using spreadsheets databases CMMS or ArcGIS as appropriate
What Youll Bring
- Pursuing a bachelors degree in business administration engineering or a related field
- A proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word Excel PowerPoint and Project
Additional Details
- This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy
- Interns must be enrolled students in good standing at the commencement of the intern semester
- Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
Compensation
Hourly Range: $21.00 $27.00 USD annually
This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.
ENGIE complies with all federal state and local minimum wage laws. Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography experience education internal pay alignment or other bona fide factors.
