We are now looking to appoint a skilled and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) with responsibility for class cover and PPA across the school to join our experienced and forward-thinking team.

Whether your strengths lie in EYFS KS1 KS2 or in working with pupils with SEND SEMH Behavioural or Communication and Language needs we want to hear from you. We are committed to appointing the right person and we will tailor responsibilities around the successful candidates experience and areas of interest.

We are looking for someone who:

Holds a HLTA (or equivalent) qualification

Has experience of working with children in a school setting

Is confident leading learning with whole classes small groups and individuals

Has experience supporting children with special educational needs SEMH speech and language MLD or behaviour needs

Understands the importance of inclusion and can adapt learning to meet a range of needs

Brings energy flexibility and initiative to classroom and wider school life

Is committed to safeguarding and to building positive relationships with pupils and families

The working hours during term time are typically 8:30am - 4pm Monday to Friday with a 16:30 finish once a week for after school club/activities and a further 17:00 finish for staff meeting/development. A personalised timetable will be issued annually. You will also work the five inset days across the year for targeted CPD activities.

Visits to the school are warmly welcomed on Tuesday 10th June at 4pm or Thursday 12th June at 4pm.
