Access Alaska is seeking a Program Support Associate. An ideal candidate will be professional experienced in the Health and Human Service fields and have excellent administrative and communication skills. This position will provide administrative support to the Consumer Directed Personal Care Services Program Manager and Program Associate.
Essential Functions: Establish and maintain positive professional relationships with coworkers consumers and community partner; providing support to the CDPCS program through DSP training hiring and timesheet process also lead training program for DSPs.
Core Responsibilities:
60% administrative
Contact the Consumer.
Assists Individual with State paperwork and onboarding to become a Access Alaska Inc. Consumer.
Supports Consumers with hour reviews up to and including fair hearing.
Completes biweekly time sheet process to include corrections and communication with billing regarding corrective actions.
Develops and delivers PCA staff training to include new hire orientation and ongoing training programs as set by COA regulations.
Check the UT report for updated information on Waitlisted DSPs applicants DSP hires ready to work that need to be scheduled for Consumer interviews.
UT Report completed bi-weekly.
Assure that Background Checks CPR-FA Annual Review paperwork are up to date and compliant.
Position Requirements: High School diploma or General Education Development equivalence. 2 years working with the public using customer service skills completing paperwork tracking and follow up on assigned tasks and duties and entering information into databases. Preferred two years of experience working in health/human service preferably in the non-profit field. Must be a self-starter and able to work independently but also collaboratively as a member of a team. Must have the ability to organize prioritize and meet deadlines while effectively managing multiple projects simultaneously. Must comply with all Access Alaska Inc. Policies Procedure and Code of Conduct. Must be able to work with a diverse population and maintain confidentiality and HIPAA Compliance. Must be proficient in MS Office and database management.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Drivers License and proof of insurance
Reliable transportation
Highly proficient with Microsoft office Suite
Microsoft Teams and Zoom
Knowledge of Electronic Visit Verification would be helpful.
Hourly Rate: $18.00 to 21.00 DOE
Full Time Non-Exempt
