Salary range is $78k to $180k with a midpoint of $129k. New hires typically receive between minimum and midpoint however we may go slightly higher based on experience internal equity and market.

GENERAL PURPOSE:
This position reports directly to the Deputy Executive Director Enterprise Data and Records Management and plays a key role within the broader Agency Data Program in managing the program in partnership with key agency stakeholders. The role serves as a trusted partner to:
- Provide oversight and management of agency data program and services.
- Deliver strategic and cross-functional high-impact projects.
- Build and leverage models and tools to deliver large scale program management.
- Manage the quality scope schedule and budget related to assigned program and project(s) and promote Agency Controls mission.
- Own and support program communication and change management.
- Drive agencywide efforts to accelerate and streamline data access modernize data management and services and accelerate excellent use of data in decision making.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Lead agencywide data program and delivers a portfolio of services and projects with a focus on delivering goals and building capabilities tied to the agency data strategy.
- Defines roles and responsibilities related to core data capabilities and ensures clear accountability for data management functions.
- Manages schedule and success of the unified data program portfolio of projects.
- Facilitates cross-functional teams on data program related efforts which includes serving as project manager and facilitator to support data strategy goals.
- Conduct presentations to large and executive audiences to include reports and other information that facilitates decision-making.
- Plans directs coordinates and reviews the work of assigned staff; assigns work activities and coordinates schedules projects and programs; provides constructive feedback; reviews and evaluates work and makes effective suggestions and recommendations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience: Bachelors degree in Library Science Information Management Business Administration Operations Management or closely related field and five years of experience in information management or data management; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Data management practices business and technology issues related to data management.
- Data related government regulatory requirements and emerging trends and issues.
- Demonstrated understanding of information management practices including information lifecycle management data modelling master data management and carrying out data needs assessments and requirements gathering.

- Proactive management of resources and priorities; and expert at leading and coaching high-performance teams.
- Strong strategic and system thinking leadership and relationship management with strong communication skills.

Physical Demands / Work Environment:
- Work is performed in a hybrid office environment with some work being required onsite at any Sound Transit facility.
