As a Receiving Lead you will play a key role in the daily operations of our inbound logistics process. From consumer shipments to Business-to-Business (B2B) transactions you will oversee all receiving activity to ensure accuracy timeliness and efficiency. You will be responsible for inspecting incoming shipments verifying documentation through internal systems and maintaining accurate tracking through tools like the B2B Events spreadsheet. In this position you will train new associates in proper receiving procedures and uphold organizational standards. Your attention to detail and critical thinking skills will be essential in identifying discrepancies preventing delays and supporting the integrity of our value chain. This is an ideal role for someone who is process-driven has a strong grasp of enterprise systems and enjoys working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment. What You Will Do: Oversee all receiving activities to ensure accuracy of inbound shipments Ensure all consumer deals are received within 24 hours of delivery Check delivered shipments for damage or discrepancies Track business-to-business deals through the B2B Events spreadsheet Compare received items to manifests in BUTR to verify accuracy and report any discrepancies found Create and continuously update list of B2B deals ready to be processed Train new associates in receiving requirements and procedures Maintain 5S organization for receiving department Other duties as assigned by operations manager
Skills and Experience Needed to be Successful: 23 years of experience in a warehouse logistics or inventory control environment Previous experience in a lead or supervisory role with the ability to train and guide team members Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills Effective at performing detail-oriented tasks in a fast-paced environment Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to coordinate across departments and levels Must have experience using enterprise resource planning (ERP) software Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Outlook) Familiarity with 5S or other lean organization methodologies Demonstrated ability to reconcile shipment documentation (e.g. manifests packing slips BOLs) Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to lift and move packages and operate basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and scanners
Language Skills: Ability to read analyze and interpret general business periodicals professional journals technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers clients customers and the general public.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform basic arithmetic (addition subtraction multiplication division) Accurately count and reconcile item quantities against shipment documentation Identify and resolve numerical discrepancies in inventory records Comfortable using basic math functions in spreadsheets (e.g. totals comparisons) Ability to apply simple logic to verify unit counts order accuracy and fulfillment rates

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this position the employee is regularly required to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
