The Opportunity

We are seeking an Executive Administration Support to provide assistance to our Executive Team and Executive Assistant at Westmead Private Hospital. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and attention to detail. They will also be able to multi-task and to work in a high-pressure environment.

Your key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Managing incoming and outgoing calls.
  • Provide timely and accurate information to queries by patients visitors and other staff and departments.
  • Work alongside medical staff colleagues patients and visitors to ensure a smooth hospital experience for patients.
  • Compilation and management of patient admission papers and clinical notes.
  • Manage rostering systems for the hospital
  • Manage On call requirements and requests for Visiting Medical Officers

Skills and Experience

You will be an effective and approachable administrative professional with a passion for client care and a high standard of customer-focused service in line with Ramsays core values. You will have exceptional communication skills superior problem solving and conflict resolution abilities.

You will also bring:

  • Demonstrated one year experience in a medical administrative role
  • Demonstrated excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Experience with patient chart filing and chart auditing
  • Any experience with Patient Management Systems (specifically Meditech and Medtech 32) will be highly regarded.
  • Previous hospital experience would be advantageous
  • Previous experience rostering and using rostering software

This role calls for individuals with a strong capacity to manage a variety of administrative tasks and priorities over the course of the work day.
