A. Job Description
1. Purpose and Key Objectives of the Job
- Conducting financial analysis and providing forward-looking management information aimed at improving the operational and financial effectiveness of the Integrated Supply Chain Department.
- Support the ISC Controller in performing controlling month-end closing and reporting activities for the plant.
- Responsible for the project financials and internal controls across the functional area
3. Responsibilities
ISC Analyst
- Conducting financial analysis and providing forward-looking management information aimed at improvement of the operational and financial effectiveness of the function
- Support the ISC Controller to perform controlling month-end closing and reporting activities for the plant.
- Analyses historical and future financial and business performance.
- Provides periodic management information on the (financial) performance of the assignedbusiness operations.
- Month-end close & reporting updates/reviews cost accruals analyses actual results vs budget/PY in production volumes variable costs yields variances fixed costs as well as OWC and capex. Generate variance analysis with insights on actual site cost development. Develop and maintain budget monitoring systems/monthly reporting package (standard monthly site report)
- Accounting - Work in close cooperation with the accounting team and shared service centers to the registration of financial transactions in the accounting systems and clearing of open GR/IR items.
- Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports and analyses for the Business Unit/functions.
- Identify align and execute additional activities within the center as necessary.
- Translate key insights from performance analysis into recommendations.
- On an annual basis gives input to the Functional Controller to determine the project budget.
- Interact with the tax team on fiscal matters related to projects and charge out to the respective Businesses or Functions
- Participates in ISC improvement projects.

Job Requirements
Able to work independently analytic and fact-based
- Chartered Accountant/Cost & Management Accountant/MBA (Finance) from a B-School with relevant experience
- 5 to 8 years experience in plant controlling/financial analysis/project controlling functions.
- Worked in the chemical manufacturing industry with a global multi-national organization
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications including MS Excel MS PowerPoint
- Sox compliance understanding and knowledge are desirable.
- Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP Business Warehouse PowerBi SAP Analytical Cloud)
- Fluent in English both verbally and in writing
- Flexible Feels comfortable in a demanding environment within an international context.
- Have strong interpersonal skills create enthusiasm be a driver of change analytical and fact-based.
