Job Summary:
This position is an integral part of the Underwriting Department responsible for analyzing submissions for oil and gas companies for surety bonding capacity as well as reviewing current accounts on an periodic basis for continued support. The position works closely with the underwriters on all aspects of the underwriting process as well including preparation of indemnity agreements and collateral documents claims research communication with brokers of terms and criteria and customer information requests.
Responsibilities:
Analyze customer information for determination of suitability for new surety bond capacity
Analyze current customers periodically for continued surety bond capacity
Communication of terms and underwriting criteria to brokers/companies
Support underwriting with all aspects of underwriting process including maintenance of company and industry metrics
Developing and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external partners
Requirements:
Able to work independently and enjoy a high degree of interaction with team members
Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication and problem solve with minimal assistance
Attention to detail and commitment to a high level of accuracy
Able to multi task prioritize and use discretion surrounding sensitive information
Demonstrate responsiveness and dedication to company customer service standards
Exhibit strong Microsoft Office and technology skills
Education/Experience:
Bachelors degree
Minimum of five (5) years of corporate experience including customer facing interactions
Insurance/surety industry experience a plus
Physical Demands
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
