Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  1. Sales Enablement
    • Generate and qualify leads through cold calling email outreach and inbound prospect engagement.
    • Manage the full sales cycle including relationship development contract negotiation and closing.
    • Represent Rolling Insights at industry trade shows conferences and networking events to drive pipeline growth.
    • Build and maintain strategic relationships across the U.S. and Canadian sports tech ecosystem.
    • Support business development with tailored sales collateral onboarding materials and performance tracking to optimize conversion.
  2. Strategic Marketing & Partnerships
    • Drive customer acquisition through content-led strategies that support lead generation and conversion.
    • Expand and formalize affiliate/creator marketing programs to drive customer referrals and influencer engagement.
    • Identify engage and convert developers startup founders and fantasy sports users through targeted outreach and sales-driven campaigns.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 5 years of experience in business development or sales roles - preferably in SaaS sports tech or data-driven industries with demonstrated success in outbound sales lead qualification and CRM pipeline management.
  • Proven success in growing digital audiences and leading measurable acquisition campaigns.
  • Strong communication and persuasive presentation skills with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences and drive conversions.
  • Experience building or supporting affiliate or partner programs.
  • Be legally entitled to work in Canada.
  • Reside in Alberta for the full duration of the 12-month contract.

Preferred:

  • Background in sports analytics fantasy sports or developer-targeted platforms.
  • Familiarity with sports APIs or related technologies.
