Job Description
Ballantynes are seeking a Chef de Partie to join our Hospitality Team working in Kin Bistro Kitchen.
Kin our sixty seat Bistro offers a modern seasonal menu throughout the day and is the venue for regular in-house events such as The Breakfast Club Books and Bubbles fashion and products launches throughout the year. Plenty of variety on offer throughout the department for a talented Chef to join our great team.
Successful Candidate
The successful candidate will have the following experience skills and attributes:
- Experience as a Chef in a busy kitchen environment
- Skills in baking would be preferable.
- Proven experience in the development and curation of food produce
- Experience working events
- Experience working in fine dining environments
- Experience with ordering and stock management
- High standard of presentation skills and hygiene standards
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to prioritise effectively and multitask.
- Knowledgeable of products including local and regional
- Excellent time management skills
- Willing to learn and share knowledge.
- Flexible and able to adapt different caf offerings.
Additional Information :
Working alongside a great team this is a permanent opportunity with a minimum of 32 hours per week including one weekend day. This includes flexible hours days off during the week with the occasional late night to cover exciting in-house events.
