Job Description
Freshworks is looking for a smart driven business analyst for the marketing operations team who can define and refine our marketing processes and investments. You will work on defining measurement frameworks building processes and delivering insights to improve our marketing efficiency. As the custodian of every lead entering our systems you should be comfortable using CRM tools and performing data analysis on SQL. You will define new initiatives execute projects and track performance metrics. These projects will span across product as well as sales & marketing teams. Responsibilities
- Interpret data analyze results using analytics research methodologies and statistical techniques.
- Generate data-based insights that help to launch impactful and effective marketing and user acquisition programs.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the customer journey and current trends to improve marketing initiatives.
- Dive deep into campaign performance data to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare analyze and summarize periodic operational results for use by various key stakeholders creating reports specifications dashboards and flowcharts.
Qualifications :
- Graduate degree or equivalent preferably in Statistics/Operational Research/Mathematics
- Atleast 4 years of professional experience in Business Intelligence/Data Analytics/Modelling preferably within an IT product/ e-commerce/ SaaS company
- Ability to manipulate large data sets with high dimensionality and complexity; proficiency in SQL Excel/Google Sheets BI reporting tools (e.g. PowerBI Tableau Qlik Looker) and one coding language (Python R Java etc.)
- Advanced analytical skills with experience collecting organizing analyzing and disseminating abundant information with accuracy
- Visualization experience is a must - ability to build powerful visuals & dashboards PowerBI experience preferred
- Exceptional verbal written and visual communication skills
- Demonstrated experience in predictive analysis and expertise in R SQL Python
- Self-starter independent and comfortable with ambiguity
