Job Description


Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Associate Director Scheduler to join our Infrastructure team and lead scheduling efforts on complex civil infrastructure projects in the Baltimore area. This role requires deep expertise in Primavera P6 project planning methodologies and schedule risk management. The ideal candidate will oversee integrated project schedules ensure alignment across stakeholders and drive timely on-budget delivery of infrastructure programs.

As a senior leader you will mentor planning teams lead schedule reporting and analysis and contribute to strategic project controls initiatives. This is a high-impact role requiring strong leadership communication and analytical skills in a fast-paced multi-stakeholder environment.
 

Responsibilities:  

  • Lead the development maintenance and updates of integrated project schedules in alignment with established planning cost and risk methodologies.
  • Ensure adherence to scheduling standards and project controls procedures across all phases of the project.
  • Develop and manage project milestones progress tracking baselines and work breakdown structures (WBS).
  • Analyze schedule data to identify trends risks and opportunities; communicate findings to project leadership and recommend recovery strategies as needed.
  • Oversee contractor and subcontractor schedule compliance and integration with the master schedule.
  • Provide resource analysis assess availability impacts and manage schedule contingency planning.
  • Lead schedule reporting including forecast updates and earned value analysis ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain alignment on schedule objectives and performance.
  • Mentor and support the development of junior planning staff and contribute to team growth.
  • SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role which are to be adhered to where applicable.

Qualifications :

 

  • Bachelors degree in construction management cost management quantity surveying engineering or field related to construction. 
  • Graduate degree in quantity surveying cost management construction management or engineering is preferred. 
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience working in a scheduling role in the construction industry. 
  • Experience of working in complex fast paced multi-stakeholder environments which require proactive coordination to ensure project/program success. 
  • Practical exposure to network planning structures and techniques experienced user of Primavera Project Planner 6.0 or above and Microsoft Project. 
  • Ability to assist with wider business initiatives as needed including responding to RFPs.  
  • Demonstrates excellent presentation verbal written organizational and communication skills. 


Additional Information :


The salary range for this full-time role is $170K-$190 per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only not of a total compensation package. Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range depending on candidates experience and qualifications.
