Curant Health the leader in patient-centric chronic disease management via specialty pharmacy is searching for a Treasury Specialistto join its team in Smyrna GA. This position will work closely with the Treasury Supervisor to assist with cash management payment processing and treasury reporting.
Summary
The Treasury Specialist plays a key role in supporting daily cash operations accounts payable and cost of goods sold (COGS) tracking. This position will work closely with the Treasury Supervisor to assist with cash management payment processing and treasury reporting. The Treasury Specialist ensures the timely and accurate execution of payment activities while maintaining strong financial controls and supporting the overall liquidity needs of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable transactions including invoice entry payment runs and vendor maintenance
- Track and maintain accurate records of COGS-related invoices coding and accruals
- Monitor daily bank activity and support cash reconciliation tasks
- Assist Treasury Supervisor with weekly and monthly cash reporting and cash forecasting processes
- Prepare and process ACH payments and internal fund transfers
- Participate in month-end close tasks related to cash AP and COGS
- Support Treasury Supervisor with banking documentation account openings/closings and maintenance
- Research and resolve discrepancies related to vendor payments COGS entries or treasury transactions
- Projects and other treasury-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Requires an Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field
- 1 years of experience in accounts payable treasury operations or a related finance role
- Proficient in Microsoft Applications with strong Excel skills and able to transcribe with accuracy.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts interest commissions proportions percentages area circumference and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Ability to handle sensitive financial information responsibly
