VISIT FLORIDA shares Florida sunshine with the world. As the states official tourism marketing organization VISIT FLORIDA has been charged with selling an extraordinary vacation product since 1996. As part of our marketing team werelooking for a highly-organized detail-oriented motivated professional to fill our Marketing Coordinatorrole. This position is located in our corporate office in Tallahassee FL.
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide support to Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) with day-to-day marketing activities. Serve as liaison with internal stakeholders Board of Directors and Marketing Committee members.
- Support CMO in managing operations of the Marketing Committee. Execute committee activities including meeting schedules calendar requests member notices rosters agendas presentation materials and committee reports.
- Assist CMO in building presentations for Quarterly Board of Director (BOD) meetings internal and external audiences and C-suite executives.
- Project manage annual Marketing Plan ensuring marketing department adheres to timelines. Create internal documents source images liaise with external designer and facilitate printing and shipping final copy to BOD.
- Monitor project flow for specialty projects. Engage appropriate staff and Partners for program development and implementation reporting on status.
- Support marketing department in executing any range of campaigns ensuring brand consistency and adherence to guidelines. Assist with campaign tracking and documentation using Salesforce and internal systems.
- Assist Travel Trade department with tradeshow logistics and Salesforce with the coordination and planning of International and Domestic annual summits held with agency partners.
Minimum Qualifications: - Associates degree
- 2 years of professional experience
- Ability to successfully manage multiple projects. Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to prioritize workload and attention to detail
- Ability to create and maintain relationships with agencies brand representatives and other industry partners
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Google office
Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in marketing communications or related field
- Experience working with CRM databases preferably Salesforce & Marketing Cloud
