Location: Austin TX (Barton Creek) LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY!
Position: Executive Housekeeper/Cook
Household: 4 adults1 teen 1 small dog
Property: 15000 sq ft home 8-acre property
Travel: Some domestic travel may be required
ABOUT US
We are a young family in Austin seeking a long-term professional executive housekeeper/cook for our 15000 sq ft family home. We have adults and kids in the house plus a sweet dog who runs the show.
THE WORK
Work hours will generally be Monday-Friday 9AM to 5PM with some Saturdays as needed. Possible domestic travel to a family vacation home. The position is an hourly wage based on experience. Duties include but not limited to:
Maintain thorough home cleaning and organization including front and back patio areas of our home
Greeting guests and preparing guest rooms
Scheduling vendors and coordinating appointments
Small errands and grocery shopping
Organization of pantry re-stocking and keeping inventory of all household items (food and cleaning supplies etc)
Laundering linens and clothing managing dry cleaning.
Light cooking duties. Some basic breakfast and assisting in meal prep.
Packing for travel.
Assist with party/event set up and vendor management as needed
Managing/guiding bi-monthly deep cleaning service providers
Maintaining the service schedule of home service providers including carpet cleaning services HVAC/AC and Plumbing Service Providers and others necessary to maintain household repairs maintenance and cleanliness.
ABOUT YOU
You are local to Austin and love living here. You are looking for a long-term commitment. You have experience working in larger homes and maintaining a standard of excellence in a warm family environment. You have high energy and you love dogs! You are a safe driver with a valid license and BIG bonus points if you speak Spanish!
