POSITION SUMMARY
The Quality Technician I will assure consistent quality of production by enforcing quality and manufacturing standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure all products are produced per Milos quality standards.
Obtain samples for bacteria plating and daily quality checks as needed.
Monitor compliance with and administer GMP or SQF requirements.
Ensure Food Safety and Food Quality compliance as directed.
Maintain all laboratory and testing equipment and perform calibrations per schedule.
Assist with the receipt of raw ingredients and sample test and/or review.
Monitor FIFO and communicate concerns to the QA Manager.
Perform testing and document weights volumes colors brix codes packaging integrity and other routine testing as required.
Perform environmental testing of air water and bacteria according to schedules.
Perform additional duties as directed by the QA Manager.
Must be able to work overtime and weekends as required.
Collect and prepare samples for shipment as needed.
Uphold and participate in all Corporate Responsibility programming including recycling social advocacy and MMAD volunteering opportunities.

This position has responsibilities related to Food Safety and Quality.
QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must have an Associatesdegree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school minimum. Bachelors degree in Biology Food Science Chemistry is preferred; or three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
To perform this job successfully an individual should have knowledge of Internet software including Microsoft Office Suite.
