Job Description

Were seeking an accomplished leader to lead a high performing Solution Architecture team aligned to the AWS partners. As a self-starter willing to operate in a multifaceted way you should also have experience in complex architecture of cloud infrastructure and/or enterprise applications and possess top-of-the-line leadership skills with the ability to execute on key business initiatives. In this role youll drive revenue growth thru a large number of local partners who offer consulting services.

Key job responsibilities
- As a key member of the partner leadership team ensure that partners are enabled with technical capabilites to maximize their returns with AWS
- In partnership with the business counterparts execute a partner-focused strategy to drive adoption of AWS
- Hire on-board train and develop new Solutions Architects
- Coach Solutions Architects in the skills needed to conduct one-to-few and one-to-many technical sessions so they can transfer deep technical skills to customers who are considering or using AWS
- Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS solutions architect community
- Guide and motivate the development of whitepapers workshops and other high-value customer/partner facing guidance and best practices
- Act as a conduit and liaison between partners service engineering teams and internal sales teams

A day in the life
This role is within the India Partner Solution Architecture (SA) team. They are focussed on building partner capabilities and act as the pre-sales arm of the business. You will have the exciting opportunity to work cross-functionally and cross-geographically as you collaborate with internal stakeholders from APJ sales operations and marketing teams while being integral to an entire business at AWS.

In this role your technical depth business aptitude and ability to steer technology discussions at all levels will enable you to shape the partner and solution selling capabilities of your team. You will help team members ramp-up on AWS as well as develop speaking writing presentation and executive interaction skills.

Youll engage with customers and partners to design and build some of the most scalable flexible and resilient cloud architectures and solutions. Youll collaborate with Sales and other teams to help address customer business needs accelerate the adoption of AWS services and drive revenue growth.

- 10 years of managing a technical team of solution architects sales engineers or similar technical roles experience
- 5 years of infrastructure architecture database architecture and networking experience
- Bachelors degree
- Experience architecting/operating solutions built on any cloud service provider like Azure AWS GCP OCI etc.

- Experience architecting migrating transforming or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud
- Experience in people management and CXO level engagement
- Knowledge of software development tools and methodologies
