Job Description
- Location: Rochester NY 14626
- Duration: 8 weeks Contract
- Schedule: Monday-Friday days and evenings 8 hr or 10 hr shifts (11a-7:30p or 11a-9:30p)
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Weekly Pay Rate: $1440 - $1600
Responsibilities:
- Prepare operating rooms for surgery by setting up instruments equipment and sterile supplies.
- Assist the surgical team during procedures ensuring proper handling of instruments.
- Maintain sterile technique and anticipate the needs of the surgeon.
- Assist in preparing and draping patients for surgery.
- Handle surgical specimens and ensure proper labeling.
- Adhere to infection control and patient safety guidelines.
- Participate in on-call rotation as required.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience as a Surgical Scrub Technician.
- Certifications: Must be a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) and hold a current BLS certification.
- Specialty Experience: Must be comfortable assisting in total joint replacement cases.
- Required Expertise: Experience in Ortho Neuro Robotic GYN Urology General and Vascular surgeries.
