Job Description
Compensation:
- Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
- Minimum 2-hour payment guaranteed for the assignment.
Responsibilities
- Provide real-time ASL interpretation during the orientation.
- Accurately interpret spoken English into ASL and ASL into spoken English.
- Maintain professionalism confidentiality and cultural sensitivity.
- Ensure clear and effective communication access for the family.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL).
- Experience interpreting in educational or community settings is preferred.
- RID certification or equivalent credential is strongly preferred but not required.
- Punctuality professionalism and reliability are essential.
