Job Description

The Payroll Administrator will ensure that all aspects of the payroll cycle for 650/- employees and benefits administration are processed in a timely and accurate manner and in accordance with company policies.

Skills :

Administration:

  • Manage all payroll related payments.
  • Payroll reconciliations.
  • SARS schedules and payments for PAYE UIF & SDL.
  • Updating all employee records.
  • Manage and pay travel reimbursements and other earnings as applicable.
  • Maintain garnishee orders for staff.
  • Maintain staff loans.
  • Various other reports as deemed necessary.
  • Ensure the ESS system is running affectively so that leave for all employees is captured correctly.
  • Ensure all personal files are up to date and that filing is up to date for the current month of trade.

Workmens Compensation:

  • Generate Workmen s Compensation recon and payment.
  • Ensure all admin is completed.

Employment Equity:

  • Maintain employment equity statistics on payroll.
  • Stats SA reports to be completed and submitted.
  • Provide HR with EE Stats.

PAYE Recon and IRP 5 s:

  • Monthly annual & Bi-annual PAYE reconciliations to SARS.
  • IRP5 preparation and submission to SARS and staff.

Communication:

  • Liaise with the Auditors.
  • Liaise with the Management and Sales department where required.

Reports:

  • Generate the relevant payroll reports.
