Job Description
Position Description:
This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto and/or Client office at a minimum 2 days per week - subject to change at any time.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Lead the design development and implementation of Workday Payroll solutions tailored to US payroll modernization initiatives.
Collaborate with HR Payroll Finance and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable Workday configurations and integrations.
Develop and maintain Workday integrations using EIB Core Connectors Workday Studio and other tools.
Ensure compliance with federal state and local payroll regulations and internal audit requirements.
Conduct system testing validation and troubleshooting to ensure data accuracy and process integrity.
Provide technical support and guidance during payroll cycles audits and year-end processing.
Monitor Workday releases and recommend enhancements or optimizations based on new features.
Document technical specifications configuration changes and integration designs.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems HRIS or related field.
7 years of experience as a Workday Developer with a focus on Payroll (US).
Proven experience with Workday Payroll configuration integrations and reporting.
Strong understanding of US payroll laws tax regulations and compliance requirements.
Experience with Workday Studio EIB Core Connectors and Workday Report Writer.
Excellent problem-solving communication and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to Have:
Experience in the banking or financial services industry.
Workday certification in Payroll or Integrations.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA and Confluence.
Experience with ServiceNow particularly in HR case management or ITSM integrations.
