The Department of Corrections (DOC) Recruitment and Retention team is seeking an ambitious Administrative Assistant 1. In this role you will perform highly responsible administrative work in coordinating developing tracking and researching recruitment projects needs and programs for the Recruitment and Retention team. As Administrative Assistant 1 you will log track and maintain the database utilized to monitor candidates hiring status. This includes creating and maintaining a database of contacts for the utilization of recruiters to assist in the procurement of potential leads applicants hires etc. This professional serves as a liaison with the DOC Training Academy Bureau of Talent Acquisition Public Service Delivery Center DOC Human Resources OA Enterprise Recruitment and outside entities to obtain information to assist in the coordination of recruitment events. You will receive and review recruitment reports to provide information on the success of recruitment efforts and provide recommendations on which events to reattend. Key to this position is effective communication both verbally and in writing as you will have the opportunity to prepare and respond to correspondence on behalf of the Recruitment and Retention Supervisor.
