Summit Design and Engineering Services is seeking a Senior Transportation Design Project Manager to lead and assist in the development of transportation design projects and plans in the Raleigh NC area.
Skills and Qualifications:
- BSCE or BSCET degree with a minimum of 10 years of progressive design experience in all aspects of transportation design; or equivalent level of experience
- PE license is required
- Knowledge of and experience with Microstation Geopack Corridor Modeling and Open Roads are beneficial.
- Experience with NCDOT IPD/PDN and other project delivery methods.
- NCDOT/DOT design experience is preferred.
- Survey experience and data management is beneficial
- Strong engineering analysis and judgment
- Experience in managing and organizing multiple tasks and related disciplines
- Proactive and self-motivated attitude
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including MS Project
