Transportation Analyst, ATS Fill Rate

We are looking for a leader who is passionate about building new businesses solving complex problems for our customers and establishing end-to-end transportation scheduling processes. Amazon transportation encompasses all of the operations that deliver worldwide shipments to and from our fulfillment centers and third-party locations. The team needs an exemplary analyst with broad technical skills to develop data visualizations and build automation solutions that drive business decision making and process improvement.



Key job responsibilities
Retrieving and analyzing large sets of data using Excel SQL and other data management systems.
Develop and/or understand performance metrics to assist with driving business results.
Monitor existing metrics building new metrics and partnering with internal teams to identify process and system improvement opportunities.
Escalate problems or variance in the information and data to the relevant owners and teams and follow through on the resolutions to ensure they are delivered.
Work within various time constraints to meet critical business needs while measuring and identifying activities performed.



- Experience with SQL
- Experience managing large data sets and utilizing to drive performance and process improvements
- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g. pivot tables & charts multiple criteria lookups nested logical/IF formulas data cleansing array formulas etc.)
- 1 years of program management logistics operations supply chain transportation or equivalent experience
- High school or equivalent diploma

- Bachelors degree
- Experience in Operations Supply Chain or Logistics field
- Experience in data mining ETL etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale complex datasets
- Fluency in a modeling language such as Python or R
- Experience with statistical analysis co-relation analysis
- Excellent communication both verbal and written as one may be required to create a narrative outlining weekly findings and the variances to goals and present these finding in a review forum.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $46600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $74800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
