About the Role
Were seeking a Transportation Sales Representative to drive new shipper acquisition and grow revenue within a fast-paced freight brokerage environment. This position is ideal for a competitive sales hunter who thrives on outbound outreach closing new business and operating with urgency. Our brokerage supports shippers across the U.S. and Canada with a focus on Truckload (TL) and Less Than Truckload (LTL) solutions.
What Youll Do
Prospect and acquire new shipping customers through outbound cold calling email and follow-up
Execute high-volume outbound activity (70100 calls/day)
Qualify prospects build pipeline and close new business opportunities
Manage customer relationships through responsive communication and problem solving
Maintain CRM data prospect lists and activity tracking
Collaborate with internal brokerage/operations teams to ensure customer needs are met
Report KPIs and performance metrics to sales leadership
Requirements
3 years experience in outbound sales inside sales telemarketing or customer service (logistics experience preferred)
Sales-driven mentality with strong motivation to win new accounts
Comfortable with high-volume cold calling and rejection handling
Clear verbal communication and professional written skills
Ability to make quick informed decisions in a fast-paced environment
Coachable quick learner team-oriented and self-starter mindset
Proficiency with Word Excel Outlook and general computer systems
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $40000 $50000 Hourly rate commissions (5% of gross margin)
Medical dental vision and life insurance (effective 1st of month after 60 days)
