About the Role

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager as the Platform Manager you will be responsible for the quality and effectiveness of the program management services being provided by the program Integrated Project Team. You are the single point of contact for their allocated platforms.

Youll provide planning and oversight throughout the maintenance lifecycle ensuring that External Maintenance Period (EMP) objectives can be achieved through sufficient support within the constraints and resources available.

Importantly youll be responsible for the engagement and alignment of stakeholders in particular the ship staff project office and internal teams to achieve asset availability to meet the clients operational needs.

It is a requirement of this position that you hold a current Drivers Licence a Construction White Card and be eligible to hold an Australian Defence Security Clearance.

You will work from the Henderson strip and Garden Island WA.


About you

You will have strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally. Youll be required to make robust decisions and call on your superior problem solving skills.

Your experience will include:

  • Technical trade(or higher) qualifications;
  • Strong project management time management and organisational skills;
  • Strong interpersonal skills are required to ensure interwoven relationships are maintained and daily communication of asset reliability is provided; and
  • The ability to mentor and motivate to meet customer expectations.

This role will require work to be completed at both Henderson and Garden Island WA.
