Position Overview
Under the direction of the Supervisor and while demonstrating a commitment to the Mission Values and Management Philosophy of St. Boniface Hospital the Housekeeping Unit Support Worker is responsible for: performing various cleaning functions/services throughout the Hospital and annexes; understanding and following Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) guidelines; and performing other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills
- Ability to read write speak and understand English.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

- Good interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to adapt readily to fast-paced situations.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to walk stand bend twist lift and reach continuously throughout the entire shift.
- Ability to lift approximately 25 lbs/11 kgs.
