Job Description
1-2 month contract with a local authority
Job Purpose
- To support adults with learning disabilities in maximising their independence within their own homes and communities. This includes person-centred planning and skill development in areas such as cooking budgeting and community engagement.
Key Duties/Accountabilities
- Provide tailored support to individuals with learning disabilities promoting independence and self-confidence.
- Implement person-centred plans that reflect the unique needs and goals of each individual.
- Support individuals in daily living skills such as cooking budgeting and household management.
Essential Experience Required
- Previous experience working with adults with learning disabilities.
- Demonstrated experience in person-centred planning and support.
Essential Qualification Required
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) desirable.
Additional information to note
- Working Hours: 16 hours per week.
- Flexible to work the following 4 week rolling rota: weeks 123 and 4 - Tuesday Wednesday Thursday and Friday 3pm - 7pm
- Sunday shifts available and paid at an enhanced rate.
- DBS is required for this role.
