Fort Valley State University the only 1890 land-grant university in Georgia is a comprehensive institution that provides an education to over 2800 students including graduate students. JOB SUMMARY:
Fort Valley State Universitys College of Agriculture Family Sciences and Technology (CAFST) is seeking an environmental economist for 12-month non-tenure track research (100%) research assistant professor level to develop a nationally recognized research program in any area of Agribusiness. Specific areas of interest include agricultural marketing agribusiness management risk management agricultural finance or other related areas. Research is expected to result in empirical reports that facilitate the decision-making process of policy makers and farmers and publications in leading academic journals.
