Job ID: 39946 Location: Munich Bavaria Germany

We are seeking a Sales Manager (m/f/d) for our Syngas catalyst portfolio (Hydrogen Ammonia and Methanol) in Munich.

This role will be actively involved in business development projects in the field of energy transition with a strong focus on building and expanding strategic cooperations with European Engineering Companies. If you are passionate about catalysis technology and have a strong commercial mindset we invite you to join our dynamic team and contribute to our growth in the European market.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the complete sales process from acquisition bid proposal including risk management contract negotiations with pricing approval from manager and after-sales services. Support order processing
  • Ensure achievement of sales and profitability targets for the assigned sales region
  • Acquire new customers by analyzing and understanding clients technology in detail and offering appropriate products
  • Maintain accurate forecasts as input for resource planning
  • Utilize and maintain reporting systems and sales tools (CRM Installed Volume Miller-Heimann Sheets and similar Call Reports etc.)
  • Provide post-sales services including orders processing payment collections handling of complaints and arranging technical services with ACT
  • Act as the face to customers for troubleshooting cases startup/shutdown site services arrangements with support from ACT

Requirements

  • Degree in Chemical Engineering (preferred) or Chemistry
  • Minimum 3 years working experience in sales or technical service within the chemical industry preferably in the field of catalysis
  • Fluent English any other language is an advantage
  • Sales Training program & certification
  • Good time management skills required
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites and provide technical service support
