About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Locksmith to join our team specializing in servicing medical facilities and commercial buildings throughout the Richmond VA area. This is a hands-on role requiring expertise in all aspects of locksmithing with a strong focus on security precision and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all aspects of locksmithing on doors and hardware
- Cut and duplicate keys accurately
- Drill out and replace locks as needed
- Pin and rekey locks to master key systems
- Install adjust and repair door closers and exit devices
- Service and program Trilogy keypads and other electronic access systems
- Conduct routine maintenance and emergency lockout services
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
- Ensure compliance with safety and security protocols especially in sensitive medical environments
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a locksmith (3 years preferred)
- Proficiency with commercial hardware and electronic access systems
- Familiarity with medical facility security standards is a plus
- Locksmithing certifications are preferred but not required
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently without the need for micromanagement
- Trustworthy and capable of supporting customers to a high professional standard
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
