TITLE: Hiking Club AdviserSUMMARY: Reporting to the Building Principal the Hiking Club Adviser is responsible for overseeing students during Hiking Club meetings and DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Hiking Club meets weekly from April through May. Hiking Club is open to 20 OMS students with exploring the trails around the OMS and OHS school grounds. Ensure participants wear comfortable clothing sneakers or hiking boots and bring a water bottle.(Long sleeves pants and hats are the preferred dress code.) Hike with students for 45-55 minutes with minimal rest meeting dates times and information manage enrollment communicate with participants and organize weekly activities monitoring students while in their care. Attend all Hiking Club meetings and QUALIFICATIONS:Current member of the Oxford Education DEMANDS:While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to remain in a stationary position for extended periods; position oneself to demonstrate technique; move up to 25 lbs.
