You will make an impact by

• Conducting inspections and audits across parks sports fields and kindergartens to ensure service standards are met.
• Managing and monitoring open space service contracts with precision and accountability.
• Supporting playground safety through regular inspections and maintenance reporting.
• Providing expert advice on horticultural turf and landscape maintenance.
• Using GIS and technology tools to streamline operations and enhance service delivery

What you will bring

• Proven experience in contractor management relating to Open Space Mowing and Horticulture in a local government setting is highly desirable.
• A recognised qualification and solid experience in horticulture or landscape management
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive methodical approach to inspections and reporting
• Confidence in using GIS systems (e.g. ArcGIS) and Microsoft office suite.
• A collaborative mindset and willingness to share knowledge within a small team
• Ability to work independently and solve problems on the go
• A genuine enjoyment of being outdoors and driving between sites
