Job Description
We are looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to join our team and support an important customer. The activity includes:
- Represent the company and own the relationship with Suppliers
- Perform Potential supplier assessment PSA
- Determine root cause of supplier manufacturing problems and lead implementation of timely effective and efficient quality resolutions
- Manage supplier crisis with on-site support within 24 hrs when required
- Assure supplier understanding and compliance with APQP processes and product PPAP submission and approval requirements
- Develop and execute plans to ensure supplier fulfillment of quoted capacity through use of Run at Rate workbook
- Improve quality performance of suppliers running workshops at supplier site and assisting supplier in developing a robust quality system
Qualifications :
- University Degree in Engineering (preferred) or equivalent experience. Preferred specializations are: mechanical electronics aeronautical chemical industrial processes
- 2 years thereof 1 years experience in the field of Automotive Purchasing/Supplier Quality or Engineering
- Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly plant processes procedures tooling equipment and facilities
- Demonstrated knowledge of probability statistical quality control and design of experiments
- Knowledge of the Commodity structure and its processes
- Knowledge about quality management and value analysis
- Knowledge of MS-Office
- Flexibility Ability to work under pressure initiative capacity of teamwork social and intercultural competency
- High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others and motivate team members
- Technical and Quality Certifications are a plus
