The American Civil Liberties Union of New Jersey (ACLU-NJ) seeks a Development Operations Coordinator; a key member of the Development Department who works closely with the Director of Development (DOD) Major Gifts Officer (MGO) and Executive Director (ED) supporting the team in research solicitation scheduling and strategy.
The Development Operations Coordinator is responsible for the operational functions of the development department and supports the organizations fundraising efforts by increasing efficiency and accountability.
The Development Operations Coordinator is primarily responsible for all data entry acknowledging donors managing the Customer Relationship Management database maintaining regular reporting and coordinating with the Finance Department.
This role also serves as the project manager for departmental systems development and management and for special projects including mailings small events and planning. This successful candidate has excellent project and peer management skills; has strong organizational customer service and communication skills; and can work independently as well as in a team.

COMPENSATION
The salary range for this position starts at $60000 and is negotiable within the ACLU of New Jersey salary scale depending on experience. The ACLU-NJ supports and plans for staff member professional growth and skill development through internal and external opportunities. We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package which currently includes 30 days paid time off 12 office holidays and 18 health care leave days; medical vision and dental insurance; 100 days paid family leave; life and long-term disability insurance; pre-tax transit benefits; and a 401(k) plan with employer match. This position is full-time salaried and exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
