Job Description

Job ID: 40171 Location: Munich Bavaria Germany

We are looking for an intern / working student (m/f/d) in the specialist area Data Science and Engineering in our Digital Transformation team based in Munich.

The position is limited to 6 months and can be performed on a full-time or part-time basis.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of data models and analyses across areas such as sales production and R&D.
  • Assist in conducting statistical analyses forecasting and machine learning tasks under guidance.
  • Help design and implement data pipelines and ETL processes to ensure reliable and efficient data flow.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and contribute to translating business questions into analytical tasks.
  • Participate in ensuring data quality consistency and integrity in ongoing projects.
  • Contribute to communicating insights through reports visualizations or presentations.

Requirements

  • Current enrollment in a Bachelors or Masters program in Data Science Computer Science Engineering Statistics or a related field.
  • Familiarity with Python for data analysis and manipulation. Any other laguage is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of data modeling statistics or machine learning concepts.
  • Interest in working with real-world business data from diverse domains.
  • Willingness to learn tools for data pipelines and workflow orchestration (e.g. Airflow dbt etc.).
  • Strong analytical thinking attention to detail and a collaborative mindset.
