Job Description
Transitional Support Professional in Pickering ON . This is a Temporary 40 hour/week position for 6 months. This position includes days afternoons and weekends. The shifts can range from 8 or 12 hours in length. Experience with working with clients with intensive behavioural challenges and implementing Behavioural Support Plans preferred. Full G license preferred. REQUIRED: Related education and at least one year related experience. The rate of pay is $26.36/hr. The location is not on a typical bus route. Please apply June 10 2025.
TRANSITIONAL SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL
Transitional Support Professional (TSP) employees work with people who experience developmental disabilities as they live in their homes and communities. This position assists people in their daily life working with them and their connections to ensure that they can live fully in the community. Transitional Support Professionals recognize peoples rights to direct their life understanding that each person has unique gifts and needs and they support people to learn skills for their own growth and development.
As part of the clinical duties the Transitional Support Professional may be required to provide reports on clinical interventions. They liaise with clinical professionals collect appropriate data and actively carry out appropriately prescribed programs & treatments to address the clinical behavioural and/or mental health needs of people supported by Karis Disability Services.

Requirements:
- Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Police Check
- Access to reliable transportation
- minimum 1 year working in Developmental Services
- Educational requirement of Developmental Service Worker or apprenticeship actively in process Child and Youth Care Diploma or apprenticeship actively in process or Diploma or Degree in a Related Human Services Field.
