Partners with the business to turn data into critical information and knowledge. Possesses an advanced understanding of healthcare data and analytics to evaluate health programs and assess effectiveness using appropriate statistical methods. Contributes to recommended improvements based on data-driven insights. Demonstrates deep domain expertise in health plan operations with a strong focus on Quality Population Health and Social Determinants of Health (SDoH) enabling the candidate to translate complex healthcare data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making. Develops reporting and analytic solutions with knowledge of primary source data (e.g. electronic health records claims) and workflows. Builds relationships with internal and external users for direct consumption or integration with other systems. Promotes data literacy by educating and training customers to use data as an analytical tool displaying information for the purpose of analysis and exploration. Without supervision designs codes configures tests debugs deploys documents and maintains programs. Uses a variety of software development tools programming languages and testing/verification applications. Adheres to development best practices and quality standards. Gathers business requirements and translates them into detailed technical specifications to ensure alignment with architectural design and business needs. Works closely with other Business Intelligence Developers Data Engineers Data Scientists and internal/external customers. Coaches less experienced Business Intelligence Developers.
