Position Summary:

The Senior Client Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients providing strategic financial advice and ensuring the delivery of high-quality accounting services. This role requires strong leadership excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of accounting principles and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients serving as their primary point of contact and trusted advisor.
  • Provide clients with strategic financial advice and insights to help them achieve their business goals and improve financial performance.
  • Oversee the delivery of accounting tax and advisory services to clients ensuring accuracy timeliness and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Lead and mentor a team of accountants and support staff fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Conduct regular client meetings review financial statements and present findings and recommendations.
  • Identify opportunities for expanding services to existing clients and attracting new clients contributing to the firms growth.
  • Stay updated on changes in accounting standards tax laws and industry trends to provide informed advice and services to clients.
  • Ensure all client deliverables meet the firms quality standards and comply with applicable regulations.
  • Manage multiple client projects simultaneously ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

Skills:

  • Bachelors degree in accounting Finance or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in public practice accounting with a focus on client management and advisory services.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles tax laws and financial regulations.
  • Proven ability to manage and develop client relationships.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
