About the Role:
NOK Human Capital is currently hiring on behalf of a leading sportswear brand in Egypt. We are seeking a talented and creative Fashion Designer with a proven background in sportswear and gymnastics apparel design. The ideal candidate will combine performance-driven design with aesthetic excellence and an in-depth understanding of functional materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design seasonal collections for sportswear and gymnastics apparel from concept to final samples.
- Develop detailed tech packs including flat sketches fabric details and construction notes.
- Conduct market research trend analysis and mood board development aligned with brand identity.
- Select appropriate performance fabrics and trims tailored to flexibility breathability and durability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including pattern makers sample room and production to ensure feasibility and quality of final products.
- Participate in fitting sessions and incorporate feedback into design revisions.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Based in Cairo with the ability to work on-site.
- Bachelors degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in activewear sportswear or gymnastics apparel design.
- Strong portfolio showcasing relevant work (required upon application).
- Proficient in the following software:
- Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop
- CLO 3D or Browzwear VStitcher (preferred)
- Microsoft Excel (for BOMs spec sheets line plans)
- Solid understanding of garment construction fabrics and finishing techniques in sportswear.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):
- Experience in gymnastics wear leotards or team uniforms.
- Familiarity with sublimation printing and other advanced fabric techniques.
- Knowledge of athleisure trends and performance textile innovations.
