Were looking for a technology-savvy Accounting Manager who can run todays global close while architecting tomorrows automationssomeone who loves turning messy manual workflows into crisp insights for decision-makers. Youll be my right hand in making Accounting a true strategic partner to the business not the department of controls.
Automation: Lead new and existing JE / reconciliation automations; scout and implement better tools when they move the needle
Process design: Redesign document and scale processes in line with company priorities
Ad-hoc special ops: Redesign document and scale processes in line with company priorities
Month-end close: Own a rigorously planned tech-first close calendarassign workstreams track progress and clear bottlenecks. Reconcile multi-entity cash accounts review payroll and benefits entries oversee AP/accruals book equity & lease JEs and run P&L/flux analytics that feed management commentary. Relentlessly strip out manual steps through NetSuite workflows scripting and integrations so the team spends its time on analysis not data entry
Cash & Treasury: Manage weekly funding FX and Tipalti disbursements across USD CAD AUD EUR entities
AP at scale: Guide the AP team through vendor onboarding categorization payment runs approval-flow tuning and working-capital wins
Corporate card program: Own Brex administration with FP&A; drive virtual-card adoption
Statutory touchpoints:
US: Lead the full-scope annual US GAAP auditprep PBCs manage auditor requests draft technical memos and drive on-time sign-off
International (Canada Australia France Netherlands): Orchestrate local filings taxes and limited-scope audits by directing our in-country consulting firms
Insightful reporting: Transform close data into dashboards & commentaries that business leaders actually use
Close-cycle KPIs: Track speed accuracy and automation coverageand keep pushing them forward
Leadership: Mentor one on-shore accountant plus an offshore team (Invensis); collaborate weekly with FP&A People Ops and other department peers
68 years progressive accounting experience including 2 in SaaS or venture-backed tech; Big 4/start-up blend a plus.
Excellent communicator who can translate debits & credits into plain English and influence non-finance stakeholders.
Demonstrated track record reducing close timelines automating tedious tasks and producing insight-rich reporting.
Relentless ownership mindset.
Fluency in NetSuite (saved searches CSV imports)
Hands-on with Tipalti Brex Carta Chargebee and data-manipulation tools (advanced Excel/Sheets; SQL or Python a bonus).
Solid command of US GAAP paired with a business mindsetyou explain why numbers move not just that they moved.
Month-end close consistently lands before BD 3 with zero material post-close adjustments
80 % of recurring entries & reconciliations run through automated workflows
Dashboards you built are the go-to source for finance and other stakeholders
Global audits/renewals complete on schedule with minimal lift
Youre the de-facto owner of Accounting Ops freeing the VP to focus on strategic initiatives.
