Overview
Yavapai Regional Medical Center East is a 56 bed non-profit facility providing quality health care to patients and communities in and around Prescott Valley Arizona. Responsibilities
As our Nutrition Assistant you will interact daily with patients families visitors and staff. You understand that most guests at our facility dine with us for a reason and take great pride in giving them one less thing to worry about.
Every day you will provide nutritious food to patients families visitors and staff to help promote their health and healing. You will follow the standards regulations guidelines and procedures for the healthcare food service industry which includes monitoring and maintaining food temperatures during cooking holding and storage processes. You will collaborate with the facility staff to ensure optimal nutritional care in all healthcare food service operations while demonstrating excellent customer service to patients families visitors and staff.

Responsibilities:
- Ensures all food handling areas are sanitized and disinfected for the safety of employees patients and guests.
- Exhibits high degree knowledge in food preparation and food production.
- Accurately portions meals and beverages including attention to detail concerning dietary restrictions while ensuring an aesthetically pleasing presentation.
- Supports team members in all areas of food services including cashier stocking cleaning tray service dishwashing food storage delivering meals to patients etc.
*Must be able to work any shift from 5:00 AM to 8:30 PM on any day of the week. Shifts and hours scheduled will fluctuate.*

Qualifications
Minimum:
- One (1) year of Food Service experience
- A Food Handlers Permit Within 30-days of Hire
Preferred:
- High School Diploma
- Cashier experience
