Job Description
About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Staff Software Engineer with deep expertise in Kubernetes and Amazon Web Services (AWS) to lead the design development and optimization of our cloud-native infrastructure. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires strong technical acumen strategic thinking and a passion for building scalable secure and reliable systems.
What Youll Need
8 years of experience in infrastructure engineering or DevOps roles. Deep hands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS preferred) and AWS services (EC2 ECS S3 RDS IAM etc.). Strong proficiency with Terraform Helm and CI/CD systems (e.g. GitHub Actions Jenkins ArgoCD). Proficient in at least one programming/scripting language (e.g. Python Go Bash). Solid understanding of networking security and cloud architecture principles. Experience with monitoring/logging tools (e.g. Prometheus Grafana ELK Datadog). Preferred Qualifications: Experience with service mesh (e.g. Istio Linkerd) and policy management (OPA Kyverno). Exposure to cost optimization and FinOps practices.
What Youll Do
Compensation
The base pay range for this positionis $197600-$247000annually plus RSUs and bonuses. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on your qualifications job-related knowledge skillsand experience. We also offer a comprehensive package of benefits including unlimited PTO medical/dental/vision insurance life insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
