Job Description

Peaceful Pines Senior Living is committed to providing exceptional care and service with compassion. Our community offers independent living assisted living and memory care.

Are you passionate about creating joyful meaningful experiences for older adults We are seeking a Life Enrichment Coordinator to design and deliver engaging activities that support wellness purpose and community in our senior living environment.

This position plays a key role in promoting residents social emotional physical and spiritual well-being in our Assisted Living Independent Living and within our Memory Care neighborhood where structure and compassion are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and lead daily group and individual activities (5 hours/day 1 evening hour)
  • Develop programs that encourage social cognitive physical and spiritual engagement
  • Create and distribute a monthly activities calendar and community newsletter
  • Maintain detailed resident biography and demographic profiles
  • Help new residents feel welcome and integrated
  • Coordinate with volunteers entertainers and outside instructors
  • Manage activity supplies and maintain organized program areas
  • Drive the community vehicle for outings and scenic drives
  • Support marketing and community outreach events
  • Assist with community social media content and updates

Qualifications

  • Experience in senior living memory care or recreational programming (required)
  • Strong communication creativity and organization skills
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office social media and enrichment software
  • Ability to drive a company vehicle (valid drivers license required)
  • Flexible schedule; available to work evenings and weekends as needed
  • Passion for working with older adults and enhancing quality of life
  • Must be at least 21 years old

Preferred:

  • Degree in Recreational Therapy Education or a related field
