Competitive Salary: $65000 - $68000 gross annually based on previous experience & education
Job Duties Include:
Reporting to the Assistant Director Conference Services responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Main Focus: Coordinate weddings from initial booking through execution including guest rooms food & beverage audiovisual spa golf and overall event logistics.
- Serve as the primary contact for wedding clientsconfirming event details conducting test meals and maintaining strong relationships before during and after the event.
- Create and confirm detailed floor plans and Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) in collaboration with clients and banquet teams to ensure smooth event setup and service.
- Oversee billing procedures including timely collection of deposits and accurate documentation of all financial details.
- Participate in daily and weekly meetings to communicate event updates address last-minute changes and ensure alignment across all departments.
Qualifications :
Your Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word Excel Outlook etc.)
- Experience with Sales & Catering software or property management (PM) systems (preferred)
- Previous experience in Conference Services Sales Banquets or Event Planning within a luxury hotel setting (preferred)
- Post-secondary education in Hospitality Event Management or a related field (preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Skilled in problem-solving with attention to detail and time sensitivity
- Ability to work independently and make sound timely business decisions under pressure
