Role: Contracts Administrator

Aurizons Procurement and Enterprise Services team is expanding! Were seeking a Contracts Administrator to join us in June for a 6-month fixed-term contract working part time flexible hours averaging 3 days a week (role may extend if projects are delayed). In this role youll deliver end-to-end contract management and support enterprise-wide objectives by ensuring compliance with best practices regulatory obligations and business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be part of a wider team supporting Aurizons key Decarbonisation / Sustainability projects
- Implement effective contract management processes and procedures to ensure that all downstream commercial issues and risks are properly identified managed and resolved.
- Provide day-to-day contract administration and commercial support to the Procurement Commercial and Project Delivery teams so they are aware of our contractual obligations and regulatory requirements.
- Lead contract-related processes including tracking deliverables against contracts developing notices management of minor variations ensuring timely outcomes
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships to effectively liaise on contract matters and achieve objectives.
- Coordinate and manage contract activities such as document control interpreting and applying contract terms interactions with legal for contract drafting and administration for projects and work packages.
- Collaborate with leadership and peers to review and manage the contract portfolio supporting strategic and operational goals.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing enhancements to contract processes and business outcomes.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting on contract activities risks and progress against key performance indicators (KPIs).
About You
Were looking for a proactive and detail-oriented contracts professional with:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in contract administration
- Strong expertise in understanding of contracts stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make informed decisions.
- Advanced skills in SAP and Microsoft Office applications.
- Self-motivation and excellent organizational skills to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- A proactive forward-thinking mindset and a keen eye for detail.
- Strong leadership capabilities to manage key stakeholders effectively.
- High-level skills in preparing reports and analyzing contract-related data.
