Job Description
Are you passionate about entertainment TVs or building world-class products that are used and enjoyed by millions of customers Amazons Fire TV organization is seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead partner-branded TVs for Japan and APAC.
Join us as we set the scene for whats next in TV.
Key job responsibilities
* Understand the needs and related trends for customers TV partners and offline consumer electronics retailers
* Keep abreast with the technologies and trends related to TVs
* Define the product strategy for the region accounting for customers partner and business needs
* Define the roadmap for TVs including TV line-up specifications software features working backwards from customers partners industry and business needs
* Develop detailed crisp business requirements and user stories that can be used to create product specifications and architecture for each product and application
* Work closely with engineering program management and QA teams to implement and deliver the product on-time and exceeding a high quality bar
* Drive decisions across cross-functional teams that include engineering UX and commercial teams.
* Drive product launches in concert with Engineering Go to Market operations PR and other teams
A day in the life
* Work with TV partners on defining the product roadmap product requirements
* Write BRDs strategy docs or PRFAQs
* Work with engineering and other tech teams to build the product and see them through launch
* Work with go-to-market business development finance PR and other internal teams on the launch of TVs

We power Fire TVs expansion across the global smart TV landscape by building the enterprise tools and services that enable TV manufacturers to bring Fire TV to millions of customers. - Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
- Experience with consumer electronics
