POSITION: Senior Manager of College Success: Data Systems & Operations
LOCATION: DSST Central Home Office
SALARY: $81300-$98100 based on years of aligned experience up to 10 years. We also offer a relocation stipend if you are moving from a location greater than 75 miles from Denver!
STATUS: Full time year round benefits eligible exempt position (Denver CO)

OVERVIEW OF POSITION
The Senior Manager of College Success will join the College Success Team at the Home Office. The College Success Team is critical to ensuring DSST Public School students have opportunity and choice to access and succeed in college as well as the knowledge skills and mindsets they need to achieve their postsecondary goals. The Senior Manager of College Success will contribute by ensuring data systems and operations efficiently support College Success priorities and initiatives in our schools. This individual is also responsible for creating structures that best support our campus Directors of College Success to develop in their leadership.
KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
DSST Mission Driven: shares a sense of urgency about achievement for ALL students and preparing every student for four year college and/or their postsecondary goals. This person should also understand what it takes to close equity gaps in college/postsecondary achievement.
Demonstrates tenacity and persistence in pursuit of solutions that maximize student opportunity; is willing to do whatever it takes to get the work done right.
Demonstrates a high level of professional maturity including: emotional constancy in stressful situations the ability to bring out the best in others a solution seeker and acts as a positive force to motivate others.
Carefully manages tasks and time is well-organized and is detail-oriented.
Lead/ support cross-functional projects/initiatives across HO and schools.
Systems Data and Operations (50%)
Oversees the relationship and partnership between DSST and our data and tech platforms including Overgrad Willow National Student Clearinghouse CDE and Persist
Develops solutions to complex problems that involve multiple stakeholders and steps.
Supports a strategic planning process that identifies and addresses the networks highest-priorities
Builds manages trains data systems for college success team
Engages stakeholders to create and manage clear reports and dashboards that analyze performance across schools and networks (eye towards building for scale)
Assesses need of (and create if required) templates and trackers that external schools and networks can use to input information and track progress over time
Supports in creation and sharing of data information across CMOs through the CSGF Data Collaborative
Provides training and support to our college teams to maximize impact of data systems.
Analyzes and share datas with recommendations to inform college-going programming strategic planning and most importantly student opportunity and choice
Coordinates with data team gathering and analysis of student achievement data (and implications for college success)
Co- manages our alumni data sources and systems; consistently share alum data as appropriate
People Development (35%)
Coaches and develops Directors of College Success in people and program along with data-informed decision making.
Oversees our Director of College Success development scope and sequence; leads biweekly meetings with Directors of College Success.
In collaboration with Home Office team helps manage and execute network professional development cadence particularly around development of data and system usage.
Program Support and Other Duties (15%)
Assists with data operations and program support for key network strategies including CO Free App Day Senior Signing Day FAFSA Events and ED/EA application execution
Works alongside our Academic Program team to monitor GPA goals on-track-to-graduate tools scheduling and transcript processes
Supports with campus-related programming and needs as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors Degree from an accredited university
A commitment to and passion for supporting students in accessing and succeeding in college
Proactive problem-solver who demonstrates initiative and ability to work individually and with a team
Experience and comfort with facilitation of classroom sessions and events
Experience and comfort working with high school students and school staff
Data tools
Experience with Tableau
Experience navigating tech platforms
Excellent Excel skills
Leadership experience
5 years of school or network level leadership experience
Organizational or system-level vision and strategy setting
Implementation and monitoring of strategy
Preferred experience in college access programming
Preferred experience as classroom teacher and/or in school leadership role
