Job Description
What Youll Do
Handle daily accounting tasks and assist with month-end closing processes
Daily reconciliations of credit card ledgers check if correct cash have been deposited and follow up on discrepancies
Perform daily bookkeeping of creditor and bank and reconciliation of those
Manage accounts receivable including dunning procedures and payment follow-ups
Maintenance of asset register
Accruals at month-end and reconcile balance sheet accounts
Continuously contribute to optimizing workflows and system integrations
Ensure timely submission of financial reports and meet reporting deadlines
Prepare and participate in yearly audit
Support various ad-hoc accounting and finance-related tasks.
Qualifications :
What Were Looking For
2-4 years of experience in accounting with a solid understanding of accounting principles. You know your debit and credit and/or have a keen interest to develop your competences within
Experience in the retail and/or hospitality industry or an understanding of its fast-paced nature and operational complexity
Strong analytical skills with a structured and detail-oriented approach
Ability to work independently while maintaining a positive and collaborative attitude towards cross-functional teamwork
Strong prioritization and organizational skills
Knowledge of Danish VAT regulations
Proactive mindset and keen attention to detail
Experience with ERP systemsspecific knowledge of Opera is a strong advantage
Proficient in Excel including pivot tables and other analytical functionalities
Knowledge of PMS systems (Opera Symphony) is a plus
Comfortable working with both routine accounting tasks and complex financial matters
Thrives on working with numbers daily and enjoys financial problem-solving
Strong proficiency in English both written and spoken is required. Danish both written and spoken is preferred.
