Job Description
A Hong Kong-based accounting firm is looking for a qualified CPA General Accountant to join their team and support a portfolio of clients remotely.
This is a great opportunity for someone whos meticulous organised and experienced in full-set accounting especially within an audit or outsourced finance environment.
Location: Philippines
Work Setup: Fully remote contractor basis
Start Date: ASAP
What youll do:
- Handle full set of accounts for assigned Hong Kong-based client entities
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements management reports and audit schedules
- Perform day-to-day accounting operations: AR AP bank reconciliations general ledger
- Manage month-end and year-end closings for multiple clients
- Liaise directly with clients and auditors
- Assist in tax computations annual returns and regulatory filings
- Support audit engagements with working papers and financial data
- Maintain clean and organised accounting records
- Contribute to process improvements and uphold high client service standards
What were looking for:
- CPA qualification is a must
- 3 years handling full set of accounts
- 2 years external audit experience (Big 4 or mid-tier firms a plus)
- Strong proficiency in Excel
- Experience working with international or outsourced clients preferred
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working independently and remotely
